Hurricane Sandy on Florida's Atlantic coast

Hurricane Sandy was one of the largest (by area) Hurricanes we have seen in the United States. Florida didn't get much of her wrath, but it did graze the coastline and bring higher than normal tides and large waves.

2012 RNC

The 2012 Republican National Convention is in Tampa, FL. I live in the downtown area where it is taking place and will be shooting photos every day.

Kress on Franklin

The Kress building is a historic landmark in downtown Tampa. While the name Kress is used to identify the block, there are actually three historic buildings adjoining: the J. J. Newberry building to the North, Kress in the middle and the F. W. Woolworth building to the South. These buildings have sat vacant for decades, but quite a bit of work was done in preparation for the 2012 RNC.
