Amazon Associates redesigned
About time! A new design for Amazon Associates launched today. I have been a member since 1999 and this seems to be the biggest change since that time. Back in the day you saw more information (orders were grouped my customer, privacy issue!) but it looked pretty much the same as up until yesterday. My favorite new feature would be the pull down to select other IDs, that saves some time.
On a sidenote, I decided to run a big report from 1999-2004 to see my total sales… $46774.89! Take that whoever said affiliate programs wouldn’t work. If each of Amazon’s 1.2 million associates sell the same amount over the next 5 years, it will total to a massive $56,129,868,000 (about 10x the sales for 2003).
I’ve had good amazon sales whenever my links were relevent to the item.
If you have any tips, please share it with the rest of us!
Just know that to get a sale you’re going to need X eyeballs click the link. Then it’s just about getting those eyeballs to the site. I should have mentioned that the money was made on 31,378 clicks.
