N-Gage QD is hot
Like most people, I had a lot of fun poking fun at Nokia for its original N-Gage. It didn’t really game that well (no hot-swapable games) and it sucked as a phone (side talkin’). However, things change with the N-Gage QD. I picked one up today for review at MobileTracker, and I am liking it.
The QD has a big screen, nice size, runs Symbian and even has Bluetooth. And you can pick it up without contract for $199. That’s pretty impressive. It also has a MMC slot that you can load up extra memory in.
The only thing I haven’t liked about it in the hour or so that I’ve played with it is that its keypad will take some getting used to for text messaging. It’s made for gaming, so this isn’t really a fair complaint.
I’ll have the review up in the next week or two with some nice pictures (there’s a Nikon D70 in the house for a few weeks).
