Site outages
Google AdSense servers seem to be down, making a lot of sites slow to load or (in Mozilla) not load at all. Of course, right after I discovered this I went to WebMaster World to see if it’s a local thing, but WebMaster World is down! What are the odds.
Next, I went to Google to do a search, and can’t get there now either. That’s probably just my data center as www2.google.com works fine. Still, major problems at the Googleplex.
Anyone else seeing problems? The weather report looks alright, at least in my part of town.
Using Firefox I find that, after an initial delay in loading, it’ll just skip passed the Google ad (or any other timed out script, for that matter) and load the rest as it would. Often, the rest of the site’s layout goes FUBAR, though.
I wonder if Google is under some sort of attack?
If it’s an attack, it’s not against all the AdSense servers. My live tracker shows clicks on MobileTracker during the “outage”. Not many though.
FireFox is having trouble displaying MobileTracker and MacMinute, both use AdSense.
Looks like it was a problem with my service… All fixed.
